Lively Mental Health and Behavioral Center is searching for a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in substance use recovery to join our team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of working remotely while providing essential therapeutic support to individuals grappling with substance use disorders. Work Environment

This position is completely remote, providing you with the opportunity to carry out therapeutic interventions efficiently and flexibly. With an emphasis on work-life balance, our designated work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, though occasional evening shifts may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and treatment goals of individuals seeking assistance for substance use disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each clientโ€™s circumstances.
  • Provide individual counseling sessions using specialized techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate behavioral change and foster empowerment.
  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that create a sense of community among participants, encouraging peer support and shared experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during substance-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive timely assistance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist specializing in substance use recovery at Lively, you will work with a diverse population of individuals, including adults seeking to overcome various challenges associated with addiction. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of California.
  • Strong proficiency in substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience providing both individual and group therapy in the context of addiction treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is approximately $115,000 to $130,000 annually.
