Job description

Cavaliers Holdings LLC is obsessed with delivering epic experiences for our team members, our fans, our community and the world. Fueled by an unapologetically bold, inclusive and high-impact culture, we strive to recruit individuals who are enthusiastic and purposeful in carrying out our vision as transformative leaders in sports and entertainment. If you are ready to bring your best to the dynamic, high-performance environment of the Cavs, Cleveland WNBA, Monsters, Charge, RESN and Rocket Arena - where we come together to create moments that move, inspire, and uplift - then we want to hear from you.
JOB SUMMARY:
Producer, Original Programming plays a critical role in shaping the network's non-live "shoulder" programming by leading the filming, editing, and daily delivery of shows that bookend live game coverage for the Cavaliers, Charge, Monsters, and other events. Reporting to the Senior Producer of Original Programming, this hands-on creative position blends high-end field videography with fast-turn post-production to deliver cinematic, network-quality content on a daily schedule. This role combines on-site production, rapid editorial execution, and visual storytelling to elevate pre- and post-game shows, maintain the network's signature professional aesthetic, and create compelling experiences that prime audiences for live broadcasts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead daily editing of non-live shows, ensuring all segments, teases, and features are polished and delivered on time for broadcast.
  • Maintain a high level of creative finish through color grading and sound design that aligns with the network's professional, cinematic brand.
  • Manage the workflow for daily episodic content, integrating game highlights, interviews, and analytical segments into cohesive shows.
  • Serve as lead camera operator for original programming shoots, using high-end camera equipment to capture interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Execute studio-style lighting in varied environments, including locker rooms and practice facilities, to maintain a consistent, high-end visual look.
  • Direct on-air talent during pre-recorded segments to ensure the tone and energy of the shows align with upcoming live events.
  • Partner with the Senior Producer to develop daily show rundowns that connect team news with live game-day storylines.
  • Collaborate with the promotions team to incorporate motion graphics and animated elements that enhance the daily viewing experience.
  • Ensure all non-live programming functions as a strategic lead-in to live broadcasts by building anticipation and providing essential context for fans.
  • Organize and archive daily footage and project files to maintain a streamlined, efficient post-production pipeline.
  • Coordinate with the production department to ingest live game melts and highlights for use in original daily programming.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sports production, with a strong emphasis on professional editing and videography.
  • Bachelor's degree in broadcasting, media production, film/television production, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under the pressure of daily broadcast deadlines.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with required experience in additional Creative Cloud applications such as After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to shape raw interviews and highlights into a compelling daily narrative.
  • Strong sense of rhythmic pacing and music selection to drive the energy and flow of a sports show.
  • Proficiency in basic color correction and grading to maintain a consistent, filmic look across all daily episodes.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and other non-traditional hours based on event needs.

We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
Actual compensation will depend on your experience, education/credentials, skills, and how they fit our organizational needs. Rock Entertainment Group offers a robust perks package with healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and more!
