Job description

Cat Daddy Games, based in Kirkland, Washington, was started 25+ years ago by industry veterans and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive within the 2K Label. The studio is a fun, dedicated family of incredibly hardworking game developers. We have shipped games on almost every genre and platform, with a current focus on mobile games.

What We Need

Cat Daddy Games is seeking a Live Ops Manager to create and execute the day-to-day monetization strategy of WWE SuperCard. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for games and can manage live events from the initial design to final release while remaining focused on the best possible player experience.

The Live Ops Manager makes real-time decisions that influence the economy and engagement of the game while charting the course forward with careful planning. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and persistent in ensuring successful plan execution.

This is an individual contributor role and focuses primarily on management of the in-game store and event calendar, along with designing new formats and themes for future Live Ops.

What You Will Do

  • Develop daily in-game content plans, including events, sales, and promotions to drive consistent and sustainable growth in engagement and monetization.
  • Own the day-to-day live ops calendar and work with other members of the Live Ops team on economy balance, sustainability, and player engagement.
  • Communicate ideas to stakeholders, integrate feedback and direction, and drive the implementation of approved plans.
  • Tune and balance gameplay and monetization systems based on qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Be a community advocate. Listen to Community sentiment and react when necessary.
  • Develop measurable criteria to determine success of an event and utilize findings in subsequent releases.
  • Monitor key player metrics on a real-time basis to determine user trends and behavior.
  • Recognize and stay abreast of trends, patterns, and consumer preferences in mobile gaming.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

  • Proven experience in mobile application design. Experience with applied mathematics and in-app economies is desired.
  • Solid understanding of the mobile app landscape from a design perspective, including economies, data analysis, and back-end environments.
  • Demonstrated experience using bespoke tools and content management systems to drive, schedule and execute live ops events and content.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, specifically in formula creation and management.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills (verbal and written). Ability to produce effective design documentation.
  • Must value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment.

At Cat Daddy, we believe diversity of experience is fundamental to crafting accessible and fun gaming experiences for *all* of our players. We encourage everyone to consider being a part of our team. We are an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,700 and $126,860 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.

Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company's discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
