The Creative Choice Caregiverplays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiringassistancewith daily living activities. This position involves providing compassionate, respectful, and personalized care toresidents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. By attentively responding toresidentneeds andmaintainingclear communication with healthcare professionals and family members, the caregiver helps foster a supportive and trusting environment.Ultimately, thisrole contributes significantly to the physical and emotional health ofresidents, promoting their independence and dignity in a home or care facility setting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assistresidentswith daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Answer phones and coordinate communication betweenresidents, family members, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Providepersonalizedassistance, companioncare,and/or escort services to residents.
  • Lend support to individuals in completing their daily living tasks and helps to promote healthy socialization and quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have minimum of a high school education ordemonstratethe ability to write adequatelytocomplete required forms andreports andbe able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Mustbe able to do basic math.
  • Mustsuccessfully complete the Personal Caregiver Test and practical training.
  • Must have some experience and/or applicable training in home health or private duty care,hospitalor long-term care, working with the elderly, individuals with developmental difficulties or cognitive impairment.
  • Must have no finding in the applicablestateregistries concerning abuse, neglect, or the misappropriation of property of a dependent population.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previousexperience as a personal care giver or in a similar healthcare support role.
  • Experience working in a home care or assisted living environment.
