Are you an experienced education credentialing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex credentialing challenges?

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credentialing Analyst with expertise in California educator credentialing and experience supporting multi-state licensure requirements. If you're passionate about ensuring educators meet state compliance requirements and enjoy partnering with hiring teams, HR, and government agencies, we'd love to hear from you.


What You'll Do

As our Credentialing Analyst, you'll serve as the subject-matter expert for educator credentialing and licensure, ensuring employees maintain the appropriate credentials required to serve students across multiple states.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage educator credentialing and licensure compliance for multiple states, with a strong emphasis on California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate credential records within the HRIS.
  • Process and support credential applications, renewals, extensions, permits, and assignments.
  • Guide employees through credential pathways, including PIP, STSP, Preliminary/Clear Credentials, Career Technical Education, 30-Day Substitute Permits, and other state-specific authorizations.
  • Communicate directly with state credentialing agencies regarding credential questions and application status.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting educator credentialing across multiple states.
  • Verify credentials before hire and throughout employment to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Send credential expiration notifications and develop action plans with employees and supervisors.
  • Respond to state and federal reporting requests accurately and on time.
  • Partner with HR, Recruitment, and leadership to ensure position requirements align with current credential regulations.
  • Assist with recruitment coordination and other HR projects as needed.

We're looking for someone who brings both technical credentialing expertise and exceptional customer service.


Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
  • Experience managing educator credentials in California, Arizona, Idaho, Louisiana, and Illinois.
  • Experience supporting international teacher recruitment and credential evaluations.
  • Experience communicating directly with state credentialing agencies.
  • Strong understanding of educator licensure laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
  • Close attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field preferred.2+ years of credentialing experience in an educational environment (more experience strongly preferred).
  • Experience using HRIS systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with charter schools, K-12 education, or educational organizations.
  • Knowledge of state and federal privacy regulations.
