What You’ll Do:

  • Safely operate a tractor-tanker combination to deliver fuel to our retail store partners
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Load, transport, and unload petroleum products in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service at every stop
  • Adhere to all safety and compliance standards and complete required paperwork

What We’re Looking For:

  • Employees must reside within 40 miles or no more than one hour’s drive time from the terminal to which they are assigned.
  • Minimum age: 23 years old
  • Experience: At least 1 year of recent, verifiable Class A CDL driving (tanker preferred)
  • Licensing: Current Class A CDL, from the state in which you are applying, with HazMat & Tanker endorsements
    – Must NOT be restricted to automatic transmissions
    – TWIC card required in applicable areas
  • Driving record:
    – No tickets or accidents in the past 12 months
    – Maximum 1.5 points in the last 3 years
  • Must pass:
    – DOT physical
    – Drug test
    – Background check
    – Jackson driving test
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Physical Environment:

As a Fuel Transport Driver, you must be able to meet the physical demands and environmental conditions associated with the role. Must be capable of meeting the physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions including:

Ability to perform heavy work:

  • Lift/move up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Lift/move up to 20 lbs constantly

Work Environment May Include:

  • Exposure to offensive odors
  • High humidity conditions
  • Working around and with heavy equipment
  • Working around moving objects and vehicles
