Job description

Job Summary:

Under the direction of, and reporting to the Automation Operations Manager, this position is responsible for programming, troubleshooting, debugging and preparation of automation systems to customer specifications. Designing programs, able to teach and train customers and clients as well as maintaining, servicing, and repairing as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Safe, efficient, and courteous completion of assigned Installations and Service

  • System installed to spec, meeting all items in scope of project 
  • System repairs in the field and at times immediate attention is needed 
  • Down production is number one priority 

Responsible for maintaining training on new technologies

  • Present classes needed to manager 
  • Be open minded to continuous technology changes 
  • Be willing to learn on the fly 

Responsible for maintaining detailed documentation

  • Robot data sheets filled out on every service call or new system install 
  • Return checklist completed on all service calls and installs 
  • Backups saved for every service call and install, and saved per the process 

Responsible for Customer Experience Excellence

  • Clean, professional appearance and behavior 
  • Make every customer interaction the best it can be 
  • Be the face of CM2 to our customers  

Maintain CM2 Culture

  • Lead by example internally and externally
  • Live our core values
  • Be a culture mascot

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in robotics, robot programming or automation preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in automation preferred.
  • FANUC Robotics experience preferred. 
  • Hands-on experience using 3D CAD software. 
  • Welding knowledge and/or experience is helpful. 

Competencies:

  • High level of ethics, honesty, and transparency
  • Must possess excellent analytics, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to Central McGowan operations, ownership, internally and externally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a good team-player, detail oriented and good at multi-tasking
  • Excellent management and leadership ability
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software, and standard business equipment (phone, computer, copier/scanner etc.).

Work Conditions:

  • Location: 123 Roosevelt Rd, St Cloud MN, 56201
  • Travel: 50-75%

Physical requirements:  

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Must be ablet to lift objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
