Overview

Come join the Catholic Eldercare family as our RN Director of Health Services! This is a unique DHS position that offers a split role in our two Assisted Living communities, each of which have their own Nurse Manager and Nursing team that you oversee. The communities are both in Northeast Minneapolis, just a couple of miles apart.

Schedule:  This is a full time, exempt position. This position typically works business hours M-F, but may get infrequent calls - we do utilize a nurse triage system so the position does not require on-call hours on a regular basis.

About our community:

Catholic Eldercare is an organization with communities in Northeast Minneapolis and Blaine, offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care, and adult day services.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Health Services (DHS), you oversee the provision and quality of Assisted Living services for our two Assisted Living communities: MainStreet Lodge (51 apartments) and RiverVillage East (70 apartments, with Memory Care). Each building has its own Nurse Manager as well as nursing staff, and the communities also have a shared Nursing Admin Assistant who does scheduling and staffing! The DHS is responsible for leadership and oversight of all of the nursing team members and health care services that are provided for our Assisted Living residents, ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will work closely with our other community nurses and operations team to maintain and update Assisted Living policies and procedures, conduct audits, and assure that relationships and customer service with residents, staff and families is top notch.

Qualifications
  • Current RN license to practice in the State of Minnesota
  • Assisted Living experience required
