Job description

Diagnostic Radiology locums coverage is needed in Illinois with remote shifts available and a defined reads-per-shift expectation. This role supports general DR interpretation across inpatient, outpatient, and ED imaging.


Highlights


  • Remote coverage shifts available, approximately 7 shifts per month.
  • System coverage requires cross credentialing at two worksites.

Practice Setting


  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient, all ages.
  • General diagnostic reads across CT, MRI, ultrasound, X ray, and fluoroscopy.
  • Coverage supports two facilities with simultaneous coverage needs.
  • Documentation and reporting in Epic.

Schedule


  • Weekday shifts are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Weekend shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, weekend times may vary slightly.
  • Day shift and night shift coverage as needed.
  • Target coverage includes about 7 remote shifts per month, about 20 shifts per month across two locums.

Requirements


  • Must be an MD or DO.
  • Diagnostic Radiology, board certified or board eligible within 5 years.
  • Active Illinois license required, facility will not wait for license.
  • ACLS, CSR, and DEA required.
