Now Hiring: Local Journeyman & Apprentice Electricians - San Antonio, TX
Pay Range:

  • Journeyman Electricians: $24 - $35/hour

  • Apprentice Electricians: $21 - $24/hour
    Start Date: 6/02/25
    Per Diem: Not available - Local candidates only

United Trades of America is seeking local Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for a commercial project in San Antonio, Texas. If you're looking for steady work close to home and want to be part of a team that values safety, reliability, and quality craftsmanship, we'd love to hear from you.


Position Overview

This project offers full-time hours and consistent work for qualified electricians who live in or near the San Antonio area. You'll be working alongside a skilled team on a fast-paced job site, performing tasks ranging from conduit installation and panel wiring to lighting and device installation. This is a local-only hire - there is no per diem or travel pay associated with this job.


Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national codes

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

  • Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, panel terminations, and fixture installations

  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

  • Work effectively with a team and communicate progress to supervisors


Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site

  • Must live locally or within reasonable commuting distance to San Antonio

  • Journeyman: 4+ years of electrical experience with TDLR

  • Apprentice: 3+ year of electrical experience with TDLR

  • Must provide own hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, etc.)

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

  • OSHA 10 or 30 is preferred but not required
