This is a Hand Therapy position. CHT preferred. State of the art facility, you will work alongside the hand surgeon and two other CHTs. 

Schedule; Monday - Thursday, 9-hour days, Friday half day, 1 on 1 patient care, 11 patients seen daily Monday - Thursday, 5 patients seen on Fridays, 45-minute sessions.

Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist 1 plans, organizes, and provides services in therapeutic programs. Clinical practice includes evaluation and therapy planning to help rehabilitate individuals with disabilities. Works closely with patients and families to meet treatment goals.

Essential Functions of the Role
  • Evaluates, treats and monitors patient. Modifies therapy program and goals.
  • Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner. Enters charges accurately.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team. Provides education to patients, family, and staff.
  • Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
  • Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review and implementation of evidence-based practice.
  • Imparts knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues. Adheres to organizational, national and state regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintains awareness of system goals. Aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact the system goals.

  • EDUCATION - Master's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
