Job description

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Regional Property Manager who has a track record for assembling and supervising teams that outperform their respective markets.

What do we need you to do? Supervise a portfolio of 5 – 7 apartment properties in the DFW area.

The Job: Our Regional Property Managers are responsible for:

  • Hiring, motivating, supporting and supervising the managers and staffs on the properties in their portfolio.
  • Interface as needed with property owners and/or asset managers to communicate the ongoing performance of their properties and any issues that need their attention or involvement.
  • Monitor, review and approve all property operating expenses.
  • Financial review and reporting monthly, quarterly and annually. Preparation of annual operating budgets.
  • Weekly pricing calls with managers in order to set rental rates, specials, deposits, leasing criteria and leasing goals for each property.
  • Respond to and resolve any resident complaints and/or concerns communicated to the corporate office. Monitor portfolio performance on review sites and motivate staffs to continually improve their standing on those review sites

The Details: Our Regional Property Managers should meet the following criteria:

  • Be positive, energetic, and love property management.
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience as a multiple property manager. Additional onsite experience will be considered a major plus
  • Have working knowledge of property management software, such as OneSite, and also be proficient in EXCEL and budget preparation
  • Must live in the DFW area, preferably within a reasonable commute to our West Plano office location. We currently have a hybrid work program with a mix of time spent on the properties, at the corporate office and remotely.
