Boys & Girls Country of Houston is looking for compassionate, mission-driven Houseparents to provide a loving, structured home for children in need. If you have a heart for ministry, mentoring, and serving youth in a family-style environment, we would love to hear from you!

About the Role:

As a Houseparent, you will live on campus and serve as a parental figure to a cottage of children (ages 5-18), providing emotional, spiritual, and academic support. You will work alongside a Home Life team to create a nurturing home that fosters faith, personal growth, and life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

โœ” Provide daily care, supervision, and guidance for children.
โœ” Serve as a Christian role model and encourage spiritual growth.
โœ” Support children's education, guidance, and social development.
โœ” Plan and participate in recreational and family-style activities.
โœ” Manage household routines, meals, and chores.
โœ” Partner with staff, teachers, and counselors to meet each childโ€™s needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a married couple or single adult with caregiving/teaching/children's ministry experience

  • Ability to pass background checks, drug test, and meet licensing requirements. Driver's license/Social Security required.
