We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations within an assisted living community. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff alike. As a key leader, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, coordinate repairs, and manage a team of technicians to uphold the highest standards of facilities management. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems will drive efficiency and safety across all building operations. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the community, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building upkeep
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and industrial maintenance issues
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance to support regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with management to order supplies and ensure all systems operate efficiently and reliably
  • 3+ years experience as a maintenance supervisor in an assisted living community
  • Proven management experience supervising maintenance teams within facilities management or manufacturing environments
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance systems
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems including repair and routine servicing
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills for clear documentation and team coordination
