Job description

Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) / Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Consultant

The Arc Columbia-Saratoga is seeking a qualified Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide consultation services within our Preschool Program. This consultant role supports young children, families, and interdisciplinary teams in fostering positive developmental, social, and emotional outcomes.

Position Details

  • Consultant Position
  • Approximately 20 hours per week
  • 2โ€“3 days per week
  • $75.00 per hour
  • Flexible schedule

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical consultation and support to preschool staff and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Assist with behavioral, social-emotional, and family support needs of children enrolled in the Preschool Program.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families.
  • Provide recommendations and guidance regarding child development, behavior management, and family engagement.
  • Maintain professional documentation as required.
  • Ensure services are provided in accordance with applicable regulations, ethical standards, and agency policies.

Qualifications

  • Current New York State LMSW or LCSW license required.
  • Experience working with young children and families preferred.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and social-emotional supports.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and consultation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
