The Assistant House Manager is a working supervisor who is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of one house. With three caregivers (including the assistant manager) sharing assistance to eight residents, there is plenty of time for life enriching activities for the residents, working directly with families, the inevitable paperwork in assisted living and building a cohesive team. The Assistant House Manager, using the many available company resources, solves problems and implements service delivery that provides exceptional outcomes for the residents.


Flexible Shift Schedule:

  • Full time position includes alternating three to four 12 hour shifts per week

Experience and Qualifications:

  • No less than three years' experience with providing care and managing staff
  • Must have Virginia Medication Aide Certification that is active
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively and to lead others
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, make informed decisions, and communicate effectively with multiple constituencies
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel) and the ability to learn new applications
