Job description

Job Description:
This a support position that requires the individual to be knowledgeable of the functions of a live-in house manager position and be able to step in to that role if needed. The assistant will be trained on all job duties required to support the individuals in the site they are assigned . The position requires flexibility , patience, positive role modeling and ability to communicate with professionals, therapists, and family members.


The assistant house manager will be responsible for supervising the employees and assuring training is current.
They will attend meetings and communicate to employees any changes

Job Qualifications:
High School diploma required. Experience as a supervisor is preferred.


Physical Requirements:
Successful completion of the required physical examination by a physician approved by Orange Grove Center.


Special Requirements:
Successful completion of the Medication Administration Course for unlicensed personnel. Valid Driver's licenses with a "F" endorsement. Successful completion of the Relias curriculum, completion of the required orientation, willingness to work with individuals not related to you in a family atmosphere. Interest in supporting individuals with various physical and mental challenges achieve their full potential.
