Job Title: Senior Loan Processor
Job Description:
At First Citizens State Bank, our mission is to provide a first-class lending experience for every customer. We are seeking an experienced Senior Loan Processor to join our Loan Operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of loan operations, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual will serve as a key resource within the department, ensuring loans are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and bank requirements. This role may also assist with training and supporting less experienced processors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare documentation for all loan types, including commercial, agricultural, consumer, and residential real estate loans
• Communicate and coordinate with third-party vendors to order required information including appraisals, title work, flood determinations, and insurance documentation.
• Review loan files for completeness and accuracy and obtain any missing documentation.
• Understanding of TRID laws and accurately applying procedures in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain loan pipelines, tracking reports, and system records.
• Prepare payoff statements and process loan payoffs.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Assist in identifying process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Serve as a resource to lenders, branch staff, and other departments regarding loan processing requirements and procedures.
• Provide training and support to other loan operations team members as needed.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience processing multiple loan types, including commercial, consumer, agricultural, and/or residential mortgage loans.
• Community banking experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of loan documentation, collateral requirements, title work, flood regulations, and loan servicing processes preferred.
