Job description

CSS Farms is a multi-state agricultural business with a mission of Growing Great Together. We achieve this by leading the way in stewardship and solutions for every field, every load, every day.

Summary

This position is responsible for overall office management, general reception, and administrative coordination for the Columbus operation. The Office Administrator plays a critical role in payroll processing, accounts payable, employee onboarding, compliance, field operations and seasonal workforce support.

Relationships

This position reports directly to the Farm Manager with work directions provided by Shared Services team members. The position works closely with members of the management team and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall reception and general office management including phones, mail, and shipping coordination.
  • Manage timecards and payroll processes using UKG.
  • Process accounts payable and invoices using NetSuite and Stampli.
  • Maintain employee documentation and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate H2A program and seasonal workforce support.
  • Track training, safety compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain crop, field, and operational recordkeeping.
  • Support harvest operations and peak season workflows.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of office management experience in an agricultural setting
  • Previous experience supporting agricultural or field-based operations (e.g., crop production, seasonal workforce, or farm administration) preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
