What is the position :The Reliability Analyst is responsible for the compilation of data and timely issuance of various reliability reports to company personnel and the FAA.
Essential Functions:
  • Collecting and analyzing data dealing with the performance and reliability of aircraft systems and components.
  • Evaluating Pilot and/or Maintenance Control reports daily to identify trends or repetitive discrepancies.
  • Collecting and analyzing fleet and component reliability for CASS and Reliability reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly CASS and Reliability reports identifying items of concern for review and action by CASS board members.
  • Generate the Mechanical Interruption Summary Report for distribution to the CHDO monthly.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions at CommuteAir.
  • Other duties as assigned.

General requirements & qualifications:
  • Perform surveillance supporting the CASS and Reliability programs.
  • Recommend maintenance and program changes to the Maintenance Program Manual.
  • Ability to use and develop word processing, spreadsheets, and database computer software programs and files.
  • Have acceptable knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, Company manuals, and Company procedures.
  • Have qualifications acceptable to the Sr. Manager of Reliability.
  • Hold a valid state issued driver's license.
  • Proficient in Excel and ability to learn and apply other applications as needed.
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities regularly.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA.

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary Work
Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body, sedentary work involves sitting most of the time and walking /standing occasionally with or without accommodation.
Visual Acuity:
Includes inspection, close assembly, clerical administrative; This is a minimal standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, computer, extensive reading.
Environmental Conditions:
Insideenvironmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
