As a full-time employee of Contour Airlines, you are eligible for the following benefits and programs:
Insurance
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance, plus short/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance (effective the first day of the month following your hire date)

Compensation Details
  • The starting annual salary for this position is $36,000.00.
  • Based on your schedule and if certain thresholds are met, you are eligible to reach pay incentives for additional trips worked or assigned that are paid in addition to your monthly salary. Specific information regarding these pay incentives are outlined in the Inflight Services Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboardingprocess should you be selected for employment.

Summary of Essential Duties
Our Flight Operations Department has an exciting opportunity for a First Officer position in our Embraer Regional Jet 135/145 (ERJ) aircraft. Candidates will need to be a team player while seeking excellence in every aspect of their performance.
We are seeking experienced pilots to join our growing team. This position requires the highest levels of professionalism, leadership, and a commitment to safe and reliable operations
Key Responsibilities
  • Place safety above all operational priorities.
  • Operate aircraft in compliance with Part 135 On-Demand regulations.
  • Perform all Company-assigned duties in accordance with Company policies and manuals.
  • Conduct preflight planning and prepare flight plans.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers.
  • Ensure aircraft cleanliness and readiness for passenger comfort and safety.
  • Comply with uniform and professional appearance standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by station leadership or Company management.

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.
  • Possess a current passport.
  • Possess a current first-class medical (verified at the time of the interview)
  • Commercial, multi-engine land license, instrument airplane rating
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Must understand, read, and write English.
  • Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal history records check, reference check, national drivers record check, and no excessive check ride failures.
  • Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and able to motivate others.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Can work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs. routinely with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Hold an English Proficiency Endorsement (EPE)
  • Able to work in stressful situations and tight time constraints.
  • Be self-motivated and a team player.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • No previous aviation related accidents or incidents
  • Must have a residence that will ensure you are able to report to work within 120 minutes of dispatch call during your assigned duty period.

Preferred Qualifications
  • No more than 2 check ride failures

MINIMUM AND/OR RECOMMENDED FLIGHT TIMES:
  • Total Time: 500 hours required / 750 hours preferred
  • Multi Engine: 25 hours required / 50 hours preferred
