Private Family in Village of Old Westbury, NY Seeking a Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper

Position:Live-In Housekeeper
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, approximately 40-45 hours/week (typically between 8:00/9:00 AM7:00 PM)
Compensation:$1200-1500/week
Start Date:ASAP, no later than June 20th

*Willing to relocate DOE

A warm, long-term family in Village of Old Westbury, NY is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and reliable live-in Housekeeper. Their current housekeeper of 3 years is departing, and they are looking for the right long-term replacement.

They have a strong history of long-term staff, including a housekeeper of 7 years, and value loyalty, consistency, and trust.


About the Role

This is a full-time housekeeping position focused on maintaining a well-run, organized home and caring for four family dogs.

1. Full Housekeeping & Organization
  • Full cleaning and upkeep of a 6,000 sq ft home
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Changing bed linens
  • Organizing and maintaining household order
  • General deep cleaning and upkeep
  • Keeping the home consistently tidy and guest-ready
2. Dog Care (4 Friendly Poodles)
  • Feeding dogs breakfast and dinner daily
  • Dogs are friendly with a dog door for access
3. Household Support
  • Maintaining overall cleanliness and flow of the home
  • Supporting daily household organization and upkeep

Live-In Arrangement

A private, fully equipped basement apartment is provided, including:

  • Kitchen
  • Bedroom with natural light
  • Private exterior entrance
  • Gym access

Live-in is required due to household needs. Candidate may stay full-time or go home on days off if preferred.
