Overview

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas to support efficient kitchen operations and exceptional guest service. This position assists the culinary team by ensuring all kitchen tools and service items are cleaned, organized, and available in a timely manner while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.90-$17.90

This is a seasonal role from June 25, 2026, and will end on September 30, 2026.

This position will remain open until August 28, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas, kitchen floors, storage areas, and trash stations.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure clean dishes and kitchen supplies are properly stored and organized.
  • Remove trash, recyclables, and kitchen waste promptly and safely.
  • Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations, walls, and food preparation areas as assigned.
  • Support kitchen staff by maintaining adequate levels of clean cookware, utensils, and service items during busy periods.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or supply shortages to management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous dishwasher, janitorial, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid California Food Handler Card as required by state law.
