QUALIFICATIONS:

w High School Diploma or GED

w Achieve Performance Levels established on the WorkKeys WIN Program.

w Have a working knowledge of machine tools and capabilities.

w Ability to lift 35 pounds.

w Ability to understand shop math, blueprints and precision measuring instruments.

w Ability to read work instructions and documentation.

w Have a superior record of attendance and punctuality

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Individuals performing this position will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

1. Set up and operation of CNC, numerical controlled, coating or manual machines either singularly, or within work-centers to perform various manufacturing functions. Operation includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

a. Set up or change over of machine.

b. Selection and installation of tooling, attachments and fixtures within machine.

c. Ability to retrieve programmed instructions from machine as needed.

d. Perform 1st piece inspection sign off procedure when required.

e. Ability to make adjustments depending on type of machine operator is working with to compensate for malfunctions or out-of-tolerance condition.

f. When applicable, operate in automatic or manual mode.

2. Lift, differentiate, and obtain parts or components for machining, assembly or packaging of product, (weight of part containers or boxes may equal 35 lbs; occasionally operator may be required to lift 50 lbs. with assistance).

3. Read and operate or complete product as defined in written work instructions.

4. Read, measure, calculate, evaluate and complete product to quality and dimensional requirements as defined in product blueprints and our quality standards.

5. Perform to and meet quality requirements as documented within our Quality Management System.

6. Perform to and meet Environmental, Health and Safety requirements as documented within our Environmental, Health and Safety Management System.

7. Perform to expected work standards for the position, i.e. meeting production and quality requirements.
