Job Summary Job Summary As a Calvary Chapel Middle School Science teacher, you would be responsible for planning, organizing and implementing a robust instructional program that would guide and encourage students to develop and fulfill their academic and spiritual potential. The ideal candidate will have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.

They will be a minister of the Gospel in this position by ministering and praying for and with the students and parents as well as being an example to the staff, students, and parents. Understanding that it is a privilege to serve the Lord in vocational ministry and that those who serve God on staff at CCCM are expected to embrace a high biblical, Christ-like standard of conduct and lifestyle, both public and personal Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials to facilitate active learning at a high standard of excellence. Establish and communicate clear objectives to meet the needs of all learners. Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures, providing appropriate feedback on work.

Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment. Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies. Actively collaborates with colleagues in the capacity of a professional educator in our learning community, contributing to the culture through assigned duties, like committee membership, and co-curricular program involvement.

Participate in department, school and parent meetings.
