Scope of Work

Required consultant experience provided by Contractor, shall include:

  • Information Technology (IT) Testing and Testing Coordination experience, including the development and management of test scripts (5 or more years)
  • IT project experience using Agile methodology (5 or more years)
  • Experience using Issue and Project Tracking Software (5 or more years)
Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Knowledge of / Experience with implementation of an online submission or ordering application including payment processing
  • Proven ability to manage quality assurance of software testing (integration, functional, performance, regression, usability, accessibility, etc.)
  • Influences, motivates, and challenges others
  • Ability to translate requirements, system documentation and business rules and procedures into test scripts
  • Ability to define comprehensive test strategies
  • Ability to work with system testers to ensure timely and quality execution of test scripts
  • Ability to manage defects and prioritize issues based on business impact and severity
  • Ability to create and present clear, concise, and comprehensive reports, including testing status, bug/defect status, bug/defect owner, estimated bug/defect resolution date, mitigation plans and issues/risk identification

Required Duties and Responsibilities of Consultant shall include but are not limited to:
  • Testing Coordinator for e-File and Pay project - Remote work is not available for this position.
  • Testing and Validation: Define test plans, test cases, and test data to validate that the developed solutions meet the specified requirements and timelines
  • Define testing scope, objectives and acceptance criteria
  • Identify and mitigating risks associated with testing activities
  • Coordinate and manage system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution aligns with user needs
  • Work with system testers to assign test scripts to ensure timely and quality execution
  • Produce clear, concise, and comprehensive reports, including testing status, bug/defect status, bug/defect owner, estimated bug/defect resolution date
Education/Certifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or other technology related field.
