Architectural Designer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Company: Frazier Home Design

Schedule: M-F 8-5, In-Studio

About Us

At Frazier Home Design, we donโ€™t just design houses, we craft custom homes that are as beautiful as they are intentional. Every project is a chance to push the envelope, refine the details, and create something that feels just right. Since 2007, weโ€™ve been designing high-end homes that stand out, and weโ€™re looking for an architectural designer who shares our passion for exceptional design and flawless execution. If youโ€™re someone who sketches ideas in your spare time, loves over perfect proportions, and is obsessed with how great design improves lives, keep reading.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing
  • Designing Homes: Turn rough sketches and ideas into precise, buildable plans using BIM software
  • Collaboration: Work side-by-side with our lead designers and the owner to ensure the design aligns with the clientsโ€™ vision, lifestyle, and the way they truly live.
  • Project Management: Balance multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain the high standards we hold ourselves to.
  • Attention to Detail: Every line matters. Youโ€™ll refine floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings to make sure theyโ€™re as intentional as the homes we design.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of hands-on residential design experience. Youโ€™ve been in the trenches and know how to bring a home design to life.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in BIM software. Experience with Twinmotion is great, but not required.
  • Understanding of Construction: You know how homes are built and understand the structure, materials, and functionality behind great design.
  • A Strong Work Ethic: You thrive under deadlines and love the feeling of delivering something truly great.
  • Client-Focused: Youโ€™re comfortable engaging directly with clients and making sure they feel heard, understood, and excited about the process.
Why Youโ€™ll Love It Here
  • Competitive salary & benefits (health insurance, 401k, and more).
  • A collaborative, creative environment where ideas flow and people love what they do.
  • The chance to work on high-end, nationally recognized custom homes that push the boundaries of design.
  • A studio culture that values passion, precision, and creativity.
Ready to Join Us?

If this sounds like the kind of place youโ€™d thrive, we want to hear from you. Send us your resume, portfolio, and a quick note about why youโ€™re the right fit. Letโ€™s build something incredible together.
