Job description

FTS is seeking a full-time IT Support Technician to provide remote and onsite end user technical support, network and system troubleshooting and project services to its clients. This position will work with and report to the IT Service Manager helping to manage and administer all aspects of our small business clients technical needs. Must have at least 2 years of business IT support experience and a wide-ranging technical skill set, with a focus on cloud services such as Microsoft 365, networking, PCs (Windows & Mac), printers, security, and other typical business IT systems.

Job Duties and Expectations
  • Field incoming phone and email support requests, providing prioritized remote and onsite support
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and support end point and network system issues
  • Onboard, train, and support end users on specific client systems
  • Create, monitor, and manage proactive and reactive alerts to identify current or future issues in client environments
  • Configure, deploy, and support business IT systems not limited to: PCs, Macs, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows, Android, iOS, Email, Active Directory, Networking, Wireless, Security, Backup and Disaster Recovery, VOIP, cell phones, etc.
  • Project execution onsite and remote as assigned for client infrastructure and system upgrades
  • Identify project needs and opportunities for our clients
  • Manage client IT asset inventory (hardware, software, licensing, etc.)
  • Create, manage, and maintain client and internal SOP documentation
  • Training and continuous education of current and leading-edge IT systems and strategies
Job Requirements
  • Live in the Vail Valley/Eagle County area to provide onsite support and project services as needed
  • Previous business IT support experience both remote and onsite
  • Suitable home office space and internet to effectively get the job done all technology and tools required for the job will be provided by FTS
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to perform remote and onsite work
  • Physically able to lift at least 50lbs, climb ladders, and install electronic equipment as required

Pay and Benefits
  • $60,000 annually
  • Two weeks accrued PTO annually, after 90 days of employment
  • Health insurance stiped of $400 per month, after 90 days of employment
  • Cell phone and home internet reimbursement - $75 p/month each (hot spot required on phone)
  • Mileage and expense reimbursement
  • Work from home, but must live in the Vail Valley to best serve our clients
