What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Live In Aide, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Live In Aide, you need basic caregiving skills, knowledge of personal hygiene assistance, and often a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid certification is also commonly required. Familiarity with mobility aids, medication reminders, and basic household management systems is beneficial. Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills are crucial for building trust and effectively supporting clients' daily needs.
