Job description

Live-In or Live-Out Caregiver / Companion
Seeking an experienced, engaging, and patient caregiver to support an elderly couple in a private household in Windermere, FL. The ideal candidate is firm yet compassionate, comfortable working alongside a household team, and able to provide structured daily support.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the mother with morning routines, personal care, daily engagement, and maintaining a structured day
  • Use positive redirection techniques and provide calm support during challenging moments
  • Assist the father with morning and afternoon care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and daily support
  • Respect the father's autonomy while providing patient assistance with mild memory-related challenges
  • Provide occasional driving for appointments, outings, and errands as needed (Car provided)
  • Communicate effectively with the family and household staff
  • Light housekeeping/laundry/and cooking. (Housekeeping team cleans 1 x per week)

Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with dementia and/or Alzheimer's care
  • Experience assisting older adults with ADLs and personal care
  • Clear English communication skills
  • Professional, proactive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset
  • LPN or RN background preferred, but not required for highly qualified candidates
  • Valid driver's license, work authorization, and verifiable private household references required

Compensation & Benefits
  • $140,000+ depending on experience
  • $225/week healthcare stipend
  • 15 vacation days + 5 sick days
  • Live-in accommodations with private room/bath provided
