Job description

Job Title:                    Manager, Live Production & Content
Department:             Game Entertainment
Reports To:                Director of Event Presentation and Entertainment
FLSA Status:             Exempt
SUMMARY
The Manager, Live Production & Content is responsible for planning, producing and executing live event productions and curating content for the stadium video boards and supporting displays across Seahawks gamedays and Seahawks special events. Through creativity, innovation and attention to detail, this role leads control room production planning, content management and creation needs and live production execution to bring the Seahawks brand to life and create memorable experiences for the 12s. This role will work collaboratively across the organization and with external partners to help deliver a world-class game presentation at Lumen Field and event show experiences that raise the game. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
  • Lead the planning and execution of the live production and content efforts for Seahawks gamedays and assigned Seahawks special events, ensuring a high-quality and consistent presentation
  • Serve as the Producer in the Control Room during Seahawks games and assigned Seahawks events, supporting the execution of the live in-stadium show through the overall vision and direction of the Executive Producer/Showcaller (Director of Event Presentation and Entertainment)
  • Partner with Graphic Design, Sea Level Studios and external creative production partners to ideate, develop and produce engaging video and graphics content that supports the overall game presentation and reinforces home field advantage
  • Drive the storytelling of the game through Game Stats, Player Stats, Fan Stats Milestones, NFL storylines, etc. including the creative and display strategy for stats on the stadium displays and designated Fan Stat Board
  • Lead the planning, management, organization, quality control and playback readiness of all Seahawks gamedays and assigned special events content, coordinating deliverables across Game Entertainment, Sea Level Studios, Corporate Partnerships, Marketing, Community and other internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Stadium Technology Operations to prepare, test and execute all control room systems and production elements required for Seahawks games and Seahawks events
  • Support the development of and maintain production documentation, including rundowns, scripts, timing sheets, cue sheets and league-required gameday documentation to support efficient event execution
  • Hire and manage the department's part-time Live Events Production Assistant and work closely with Stadium Technical Operations on development of Control Room Crew roster and scheduling while providing leadership, coaching and performance management throughout the year
  • Serve as a liaison with internal departments and external production vendors to coordinate technical production needs including but not limited to event scripting software vendor, board display operations, graphics server and video playback, stats providers, camera suppliers, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Stadium Technical Operations, Crew Operators and Manager, Entertainment Experience & Programming to integrate entertainment programming, field production and content into a cohesive live event presentation
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Directly supervise the Part-Time Live Events Production Assistant
  • Provide leadership, guidance and oversight to control room crew, gameday production support staff and freelance production personnel while working closely with Technical Operations on the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling and crewing budgets
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative and detail-oriented team environment while ensuring production staff are prepared to execute and deliver exceptional shows at all Seahawks events
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a college or university
  • Three plus (3+) years previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize (preferably sports control room related)
  • Experience in the creative content creation process and leveraging control room systems such as ROSS Xpression, ROSS Piero, ANC LiveSync, EVS Playback, Evertz Dreamcatcher
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite such as Photoshop, Premier and After Effects
LANGUAGE SKILLS 
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills 
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 
  • Valid Drivers’ License

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • The salary range for this position is: $90,000 – $95,000. The salary range applies to the current posting. The posted salary range may vary based on key factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related knowledge, experience and skill set.
