Job Description
Position Summary:
This position is for instruction of specialized courses in the MFA in Creative Writing and Publishing program at LIU Brooklyn, specifically the LIU Brooklyn Summer Writing Program Graduate Workshop: Kickstarting Your Novel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach the course, which includes part lecture and part peer-reviewed writing workshop.
  • Hold student office hours.
  • Coordinate publishing expert guests.

Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
  • Must be a multi-time published author with years of experience.

Working Conditions:
One professor will be hybrid (in person at Brooklyn and online) and one will be online.
Materials & Equipment:
  • Ability to host online classes.
