Pay

$23.88- $25.10 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Plus $1.00 / hr shift premium for 2nd Shift hours

This position offers the opportunity to earn incentive above base wage. Not guaranteed, but paid when producing above the minimum standard. Average incentive is $350 weekly.

Schedule

2nd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.)

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Shipping Utility to join our Shipping Department team.

  • Work and interact as part of a 2-person team to meet team performance goals
  • Use computers in a windows and non-windows environment
  • Pick cases and load onto conveyor to fill distributor's orders
  • Maintain high level of accuracy in filling orders
  • Stack cases in trailer as needed
  • Maintain high level of quality when stacking
  • Maintain accurate information in WMS
  • Communicate effectively with others
  • Cross-training in other areas
  • Clean and perform all other shipping/receiving duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Overall good work record (which includes attendance, safety, job performance, flexibility, and team behaviors)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cohesive team environment
  • Ability to work with computers (data entry)
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting
  • Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles
  • Capable of reaching work goals with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with WMS
  • Previous shipping and lift truck experience
