Job Description

  • Support attorneys with day-to-day litigation matters from intake through resolution
  • Prepare, format, revise, and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery, and other case-related documents
  • File documents with courts and assist with service of process and related follow-up
  • Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation ticklers
  • Coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, meetings, and attorney calendars
  • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Assist with document management, organization of exhibits, and case materials
  • Track deadlines and help ensure matters move efficiently and accurately
  • Provide general administrative and secretarial support to litigation attorneys as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior litigation secretary or litigation legal assistant experience required
  • Strong typing, formatting, proofreading, and document organization skills
  • Experience handling court filings, legal calendars, and deadline management
