What You'll Do


As an Immigration Attorney, you will play a critical role in representing individuals before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and other immigration agencies while providing compassionate, strategic legal counsel.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Represent clients before Immigration Court (EOIR) throughout all stages of removal proceedings.
  • Conduct legal consultations with prospective clients.
  • Handle approximately 15–25 consultations per week while maintaining strong conversion goals.
  • Develop case strategies tailored to each client's immigration objectives.
  • Prepare and file applications for immigration relief, motions, pleadings, legal briefs, and supporting documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments.
  • Represent clients during hearings, master calendar hearings, and individual merits hearings.
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients while delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Monitor case progress, KPIs, and case inventory through weekly planning and team meetings.
  • Produce timely reports for leadership and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow.
  • Delegate effectively using firm systems and technology to maximize productivity.
  • Contribute to achieving individual, departmental, and firm-wide goals.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed and authorized to practice law by the highest court of any U.S. state.
  • 3–5 years of experience practicing Immigration Law.
  • Minimum of 3 years representing clients before Immigration Court (EOIR).
  • Strong litigation experience.
  • Excellent legal research, legal writing, and analytical skills.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and court procedures.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat/PDF tools, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience working with asylum, VAWA, U Visas, T Visas, SIJS, Cancellation of Removal, Adjustment of Status, waivers, and other humanitarian forms of immigration relief.
  • Experience mentoring or training junior attorneys is a plus.
