Job Description

  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of complex commercial and employment litigation.
  • Manage litigation files, case calendars, deadlines, and critical case information with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain pleadings, discovery, correspondence, exhibits, deposition materials, and other litigation documents.
  • Assist with discovery, including document review, production, requests for production, interrogatories, subpoenas, and related case management.
  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, trial preparation, and other litigation-related activities.
  • Conduct legal and factual research and assist attorneys in developing case strategy and preparing for hearings, depositions, and trial.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, experts, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties as needed.
  • Anticipate case needs, stay ahead of deadlines, and proactively identify issues requiring attorney attention.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Contribute to a collaborative legal team while independently managing priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of directly relevant complex litigation experience.
  • Strong experience supporting sophisticated commercial and/or employment litigation matters.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery, pleadings, deadlines, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
