About the Role

A well-established law firm with a national litigation practice is looking to add a mid-level Litigation Associate (roughly 4-6 years' experience) to its Commercial Litigation team in Washington, D.C. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes disputes alongside experienced trial counsel, with strong potential for mentorship and accelerated growth.

What You'll Do
  • Manage multiple phases of complex commercial litigation matters
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Handle written discovery and take/defend depositions
  • Support trial preparation and, where applicable, trial presentation
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on strategy and case management
Helpful (Not Required) Experience
  • Digital assets / cryptocurrency-related disputes
  • Corporate governance, shareholder, or partnership disputes
  • Insurance recovery matters, particularly representing policyholders
What We're Looking For
  • Admission to the D.C. Bar
  • Strong academic background and writing skills
  • Prior law firm or clerkship experience
  • Comfort with oral advocacy and independent case handling
  • Experience on both plaintiff- and defense-side matters is a plus
Compensation:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience, in line with market rates for D.C. commercial litigation associates at comparable firms.
