Job description

Peckar & Abramson, P.C., a nationally recognized law firm, is looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join its River Edge, New Jersey office. This position is well suited for a lawyer with 4โ€“8 years of litigation experience, or equivalent clerkship experience, who is ready to take on meaningful responsibility in sophisticated commercial disputes.


Successful candidates will bring strong legal judgment, initiative, and a genuine commitment to litigation. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent legal research and persuasive writing skills;
  • Selfโ€‘starting work ethic and strong ownership of assignments
  • The ability to help develop and execute case strategy, with guidance, from the outset of a matter through its resolution;
  • Deposition and courtroom experience; and
  • A demonstrated passion for litigation.


Experience with labor and employment matters is preferred, but not required.


Candidates must have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted in New Jersey. New York admission is a plus.
