Job DetailsJob Location: Hamilton, NJ 08619Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Law SchoolSalary Range: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 Salary/year

Stark & Stark is actively recruiting for a Litigation Associate for our Hamilton, NJ office to work in Construction Litigation. The right candidate will have an extraordinary opportunity to continue their professional development in a challenging, but collegial, environment.

Responsibilities:
  • The candidate will support the Construction Litigation group attorneys in commercial and multifamily residential construction litigation matters.
  • Responsible for all phases of litigation, with an emphasis on drafting pleadings, engaging in written discovery,taking and defending depositions and oral motion hearings and assistance at trial.
  • Manage general corporate contracts, legal opinions, by-law amendments, rule creation, and litigation.
  • Provide timely and consistent updates on the status of cases and assignments.
  • Work primarily in office, maintaining a physical presence to ensure in-person collaboration and engagement with the team.
  • Participating in trade organizations, conferences and networking events.
QualificationsQualifications:
  • Two to four years of experience handling civil litigation matters is required.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Possess superior verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong integrity and professionalism.
  • Exercise sound judgment and the ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team.
  • Must be able to act with a sense of urgency while presenting a calm demeanor.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems independently.
  • The ideal candidate will have an interest in handling litigation matters.
  • Admission to New Jersey is required.
  • Admission in Pennsylvania is a plus.
