Job description

Offit Kurman, a full-service Am Law 200 firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join our Charlotte, North Carolina office.
The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in developing a long-term litigation career.
Practice Area:
This position will focus primarily on litigation practice and related commercial litigation matters. Prior experience with landlord representation, real estate litigation, and property management a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently perform all phases of litigation, from pleadings through trial preparation
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and discovery responses
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and client communications
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys across practice areas in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admission to the North Carolina bar required
  • 5-15 years of litigation experience
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
