About the job

Client, a growing law firm located in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey is seeking a litigation associate attorney with 1-5 years of experience. Candidates must be admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and in good standing.

The ideal candidate should have experience handling all aspects of civil litigation, including conducting discovery; interviewing clients and witnesses; drafting pleadings, discovery motions and briefs; conducting and/or defending depositions; and have an interest in eventually conducting trials.

Candidates must possess excellent communication and writing skills, be proficient in legal research and writing, and have the ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines with minimal to moderate guidance.

Portable business is not required but is also a plus. Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a detail-oriented professional is required.
