Job description

Gottlieb & Greenspan is a rapidly growing law firm at the forefront of healthcare reimbursement litigation, with a specialized focus on disputes arising under the No Surprises Act (NSA). We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our team in Connecticut. The ideal candidate is an experienced litigator who is comfortable managing a high-volume caseload and practicing in both state and federal courts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases from inception through resolution
  • Draft and file complaints and responsive pleadings
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions
  • Develop litigation strategy in reimbursement and coverage disputes
  • Engage in settlements negotiations
  • Appear in CT state and federal courts
  • Collaborate on complex healthcare litigation matters involving regulatory and reimbursement frameworks

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • 3+ years of litigation experience
  • Licensed and in good standing in Connecticut (required)
  • Licensed and in good standing in New Jersey or New York (preferred)
  • Licensed in the Federal Court of Connecticut (preferred)
  • Prior experience in healthcare litigation, insurance coverage, or reimbursement disputes preferred but not required
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently

Salary Range: $140,000-170,000 / year, commensurate with experience
