Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate with 5 to 10 years of substantive experience to join our team in Cleveland. In this role, you will work closely with partners and senior associates to represent clients across a wide range of complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts. This position is designed for a versatile advocate who possesses strong analytical capabilities and can seamlessly manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Case Advocacy & Court Appearances: Prepare for and actively attend court appearances, including contested hearings, depositions, and trials.

* Alternative Dispute Resolution: Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations to resolve disputes strategically outside of the courtroom.

* Legal Craftsmanship: Conduct rigorous legal research and analysis on complex legal issues; draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and comprehensive legal documents for submission to courts and opposing counsel.

* Fact Vetting & Document Review: Review and analyze diverse evidentiary records, including contracts, corporate emails, and other critical evidence relevant to ongoing litigation matters.

* Case Strategy & Collaboration: Partner with senior associates and firm leaders to develop effective case strategies, ensuring all structural deadlines are met.

* Client Management: Communicate directly and transparently with clients, providing timely case development updates and advising them on legal strategies and potential outcomes.

* File Maintenance: Maintain highly accurate, organized, and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Qualifications

* Experience: 5-10 years of active litigation experience handling complex legal disputes.

* Bar Admission: Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Ohio.
