The Opportunity

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking a meticulous and efficient Litigation Assistant to add to our Litigation Support department. The perfect candidate for this position is organized and efficient, while being service-minded with our clients. This role requires a strong track record in juggling multiple cases and knowledge of strict litigation timelines. This position is full-time, on-site at our Corona, CA location.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain consistent communication with all paralegals and attorneys and provide timely case updates as requested
  • Serve as the primary liaison for client care by coordinating medical appointments and tracking treatment recommendations
  • Run investigative searches through claim databases and social media platforms to identify case-strengthening information
  • Order critical case information, including medical records and subpoenaed files
  • Handle health insurance and statutory liens
  • Secure settlement drafts and medpay reimbursement from insurance carriers
  • Orchestrate the execution of settlement releases, authorizations, and check endorsements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in criminal justice, sociology, or related studies
  • 2-5 years of litigation case management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent telephone customer service etiquette and support, with emphasis on active listening skills
  • Superior time management and capable to handle multiple cases and deadlines at once
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and written) and effective organization skills
  • Maintains consistent attendance to support the team's productivity and efficiency
