Job description

Energy Exploration Technologies has a mission to become a worldwide leader in the global transition to sustainable energy. The Role

The Demonstration Plant Operator performs operates, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots demonstration equipment. We welcome all interested candidates to apply. Our ideal candidate will be willing to learn new things, be dedicated to the project, and can remain flexible throughout the training and the project. As we work together to move this project forward, candidates should be informed of the following while considering the position:

  • This is a contract position due to last through November 2026 (but work may continue after this period).
  • The job includes on-the-job training for all functions.
  • Hiring will take place in Hooks, TX in January and throughout the course of the project.


Key Responsibilities

Demonstration Plant Operations

The position will work under a shift lead and work in a team of 8 people. Training will be included.

Administration

Instrument readouts are recorded and reported to a supervisor. The position requires showing up on time for the shift and notifying a supervisor if they are unable to make their shift. Working night shifts is available; individuals may need to fill in a rare night shift for a colleague.


Basic Qualifications

  • Willingness to follow safety rules and conduct work in a safe manner
  • Self-directed and motivated
  • Must be capable of standing throughout the working day
  • Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs
