Job description

About us

We're a gorgeous lakeside farm-to-table supper club on the water in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin — a place that honors the traditions people love about a Wisconsin supper club while sourcing seriously from local farms. Think relish trays and brandy old fashioneds, a Friday fish fry people plan their week around, and a seasonal menu built on what's actually growing and being raised nearby. Our rhythm follows the lake: busy, high-energy summers and a more intentional pace in the off-season.

We're looking for a General Manager to run the house — someone who can hold both sides of this at once: the warmth and ritual of a classic supper club, and the standards of a modern, ingredient-driven kitchen.

What you'll own

  • Full front-of-house leadership: service standards, floor flow, and the guest experience from the first "welcome" to the last brandy old fashioned
  • Hiring, training, scheduling, and developing a seasonal team — including ramping up for summer and managing the off-season transition
  • P&L accountability: labor, cost of goods, and revenue targets, working closely with ownership
  • Partnering with the chef on menu execution, sourcing relationships with local farms, and seasonal changeovers
  • Protecting the traditions our regulars count on (the fish fry, the relish tray, the old fashioned) while raising the bar on execution
  • Vendor and inventory management, compliance, and day-to-day operations

What we're looking for

  • Proven restaurant management experience — GM or strong AGM ready to step up — ideally in seasonal, resort, or high-volume dining
  • Someone who genuinely gets supper club culture, or is excited to learn it and carry it
  • A leader who builds loyal teams and keeps them through a seasonal cycle
  • Comfort with the numbers: labor and food cost discipline, scheduling to demand, hitting margins
  • Steady under a summer rush, thoughtful in the slower months
  • Local to or willing to be near the Twin Lakes / Lake Geneva / northern Illinois lakes area

Why this role

  • Run your own house with real ownership over the guest experience and the team
  • A concept with soul — tradition and local sourcing, not a corporate playbook
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives
  • A beautiful lakeside setting and a business that's invested in doing this right
