Settler Structures LLC builds custom barndominiums, pole barns, metal buildings, and shop garages throughout the Springfield, MO region. We're a fast-paced, growing company where creativity, initiative, and customerfirst service matter.

We are seeking a highly organized Construction Superintendent to manage the day-to-day construction of building projects in the field and support our continued growth.

This role will directly impact company profitability and will work closely with ownership and project management to ensure projects are built to our standards and within our timeline.

What You Will Do

  • Directing and supervising trade partners
  • Closely monitoring and adhering to the project schedule
  • Preparing project reports and conducting daily walks
  • Approving trade partner work orders
  • Monitoring project cleanliness and quality
  • Assist sales with customer upgrades and custom features
  • Support project managers in controlling project costs

What We're Looking For

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in residential construction or metal buildings
  • Strong understanding of construction materials and scopes of work
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork and cooperation

  • People skills to articulately and professionally handle conflict with customers, inspectors and trade contractors.
  • The recognition and expectation that construction is NOT a 9-to-5 job. Willingness to work hard and long hours, on weekends when required, in odd shifts when required, and in inclement weather, when required.
