Job description

Wenger Construction is looking for an experienced Flat Roofing Punch List Technician to join our Flat Roofing division. You'll travel between job sites completing final punch list items and small standalone roofing projects – correcting deficiencies, finishing detail work, and making sure every job meets Wenger's quality standards before close-out. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on flat roofing experience who takes pride in finishing a job right and enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.

What You'll Do

  • Complete punch list items identified during quality control walks, final inspections, or customer requests
  • Respond to leak calls and diagnose the source of active leaks on commercial flat roofs
  • Complete small flat roofing projects and standalone roofs from start to finish
  • Repair and finish flashing, seams, penetrations, and other flat roofing detail work
  • Travel between multiple job sites daily to knock out outstanding punch items
  • Document completed work with photos and update job status with the Foreman or Project Manager
  • Ensure all completed work meets manufacturer specifications and Wenger quality standards

What You Need

Required:

  • 5+ years of commercial flat roofing experience
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, carry, and work at heights regularly
  • Willingness to travel between job sites daily
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Experience with EPDM and TPO roofing systems

Desired:

  • Experience with PVC roofing systems
  • Familiarity with flashing, seam, and penetration detail repair
  • Basic blueprint or roof plan reading
  • Prior quality control or punch list experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
