Job description

Join the team at Lionsgate Academy and make a difference in a student's life TODAY! Everything we do at Lionsgate is aimed at fulfilling our mission which is inclusively designed to address the unique learning needs of students living with autism or other learning differences. Lionsgate - a place for both students and staff to learn, a place to truly belong.

WHAT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS DO:

  • Provide direct, indirect and consultative occupational therapy services to students grade 7-12 based on IEP needs.
  • Assess students and develop appropriate OT goals, interventions, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, related service providers, and other members of the educational team.
  • Support students in developing functional skills related to fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and participation in the school environment.
  • Complete required documentation, progress monitoring, and IEP-related responsibilities.
  • Create and implement universal design to promote student participation and success across school settings.
