Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Fullstack Web3 Senior Developer in Netherlands.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative Web3 and blockchain-driven projects within a fast-growing international technology environment. As a senior developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of next-generation digital platforms and decentralized applications used by clients across industries such as luxury, media, and blockchain technology. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build scalable frontend and backend solutions while helping shape the technical foundations of future-oriented systems. The position combines technical ownership, continuous improvement, and close collaboration in an agile and distributed work environment. Ideal for professionals passionate about emerging technologies, this role provides the flexibility, autonomy, and impact expected from a modern remote-first engineering culture.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain frontend and/or backend components for Web3, blockchain, and eCommerce-related applications.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD processes, deployment workflows, and system reliability.
  • Refactor and optimize existing codebases to reduce technical debt and improve scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Write, test, and maintain high-quality code with a focus on performance, compatibility, and long-term stability.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, architecture discussions, and development best practices.
  • Participate in release management activities and ensure smooth deployment cycles.
  • Work within agile project environments and collaborate effectively with geographically distributed international teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to high engineering standards across projects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a frontend, backend, or full stack software developer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with modern blockchain and Web3 technologies.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, scalable application development, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with version control systems, release management, and automated testing methodologies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and collaboration with DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent English communication skills; French is considered a strong advantage and German is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multicultural and distributed teams.
  • Candidates must be based in Europe or neighboring countries.
