Do you want to drive large-scale programs that deliver measurable infrastructure optimization and peak readiness across hundreds of services powering hundreds of millions of Amazon devices. The Devices Software and Services (DS2) team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale, highly visible programs that span every Devices product line and demand cross-org influence at the executive level

These programs are Memory Optimization and Peak Readiness. Memory Optimization reduces memory consumption across Devices fleets through code optimization, JVM tuning, instance-family migration, and rightsizing, using AI to identify opportunities at scale and accelerate the analysis-to-action cycle. Peak Readiness is the cross-Devices Q4 Peak program covering service scaling, resiliency testing, operational readiness campaigns, and coordinated game days across hundreds of services, using AI to scale beyond manual coordination and automate game day execution.
DS2 owns the platform layer beneath every Kindle, Echo, Fire TV, and Fire Tablet sold worldwide

We own device identity, registration, OTA updates, telemetry, cloud-to-device messaging, and lifecycle management for hundreds of millions of devices. As the horizontal organization across the Devices portfolio, DS2 also leads flagship programs spanning multiple product lines, including infrastructure optimization and efficiency, next-gen authentication implementations, and software regulatory compliance.
